12 Killed in Paris Charlie Hebdo Shooting for Muhammad Satirical Cartoons
Masked gunmen shot and killed 12 people in the Paris office of Charlie Hebdo, a French satirical magazine that has published controversial Muhammad cartoons. The terrorists shouted "Allahu Akbar" as they stormed the office with AK-47s, leaving 12 people including the editor and two police officers, dead. The suspects escaped in a black Citroen, crashed, then hijacked a sudan from a bystander. Thursday was declared a national day of mourning in France as the country launches a manhunt for the killers with assistance from the FBI and well as the U.K.
