After two Stage Five Crashes, Chris Froome is out of Tour de France
After crashing two times and injuring his left wrist during the fifth stage, Chris Froome is out of the Tour de France. Racing in the rain, Froome was able to get back on his bike after scraping his right thigh and cutting his knee, but was not able to continue after a second crash left the Team Sky rider injured enough for his team doctor Alan Farell to convince him to stop. The day was full of falls as riders skidded and lost their bikes from underneath them when trying to take a giant roundabout just after the peloton split.
