Alec Baldwin Arrested for Biking the Wrong Way in NYC
Alec Baldwin ended up handcuffed and charged with disorderly conduct after biking the wrong way in New York City. Two officers stopped Baldwin to write him up for cycling the wrong way on Fifth Avenue. When Baldwin could not provide identification, he became "belligerent with the officers" and was taken to the 13th Precinct station house in handcuffs. After being recognized at the station, Baldwin was released by noon with two Criminal Court summons. Taking to Twitter, Baldwin declared that NYC is "a mismanaged carnival of stupidity that is desperate for revenue." Bikers are not usually arrested for cycling the wrong way; it was a lack of identification and disorderly conduct that led to Baldwin's arrest.
