Blind Man and Service Dog Kicked off Plane
Crew members of a US Airways plane forced a blind man and his service dog off the plane after the dog got fidgety during a delay. The plane was sitting in the Philadelphia tarmac when the seeing-eye dog began to walk the aisles instead of staying under its owner's seat as per the airline's rules. The crew reports that the man became verbally abusive, and after hearing about the situation, the other passengers became argumentative as well. Due to safety concerns, the captain announced that they would all have to exit the plane and the flight was canceled. US Airways bused the passengers to slip NY.
