Canadian Student Develops Tattoo Removal Cream
Canadian PhD Dalhousie University student Alec Falkenham has developed a cream that could eventually remove tattoos. Using the same concept from his work on heart cells, Falkenham believes he can find a way to target cells containing tattoo pigment. Though still in early stages, 'bisphosphonate liposomal tattoo removal' could be a less scarring form of removal that would only cost 4.5 cents per square centimeter.
