Chardon High School Shooter T.J. Lane Escapes with Inmate from Prison
Chardon High School shooter T.J. Lane escaped with a 45-year-old inmate from Allen County Correctional Institution in Lima, Ohio. He was serving a life sentence for the shooting deaths of three teenagers. The two inmates escaped around 8:00 p.m. and were wearing prison blues. Pictures have been posted and residents have been warned. Clifford E. Opperud, the second inmate, was serving a 12-year sentence for robbery, burglary and kidnapping.
