Cody Cousins Faces 65 Years in Prison After Pleading Guilty to Student Murder
After pleading guilty to shooting Andrew Boldt to death in January, former Purdue University student Cody Mark Cousins faces up to 65 years in prison. Even if he pleads not guilty by reason of insanity, Cousins would still face 45 years. Cousins apparently singled out Boldt on Purdue's campus and shot him to death before surrendering outside the electrical engineering building shortly after on Jan. 21. No motive has yet been determined.
