Coldplay's Chris Martin Joins 'The Voice' as Key Advisor
Chris Martin, the lead singer of Coldplay, will join the reality show "The Voice" as a "key advisor." Currently, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Usher and Shakira serve as coaches who try to build a team of the strongest vocalists with the end goal of leading one "Voice" to the championship. Martin, however, will help each contestant as a mentor regardless of what team they are on. With the next round occurring on March 31, Martin will advise contestants on song selection, stage presence and vocal techniques. In its sixth season, "The Voice" will begin live performances on April 21st and have a winner announced on May 20th.
