Crumbs Bake Shop Closes Doors, Files for Bankruptcy
Crumbs Bake Shop, the country's largest specialty cupcake chain, is filing for bankruptcy after shutting down all of its 65 stores on Monday. The New York-based company began being publicly traded in 2011, but the Nasdaq Stock Market suspended trading saying the company did not have mandatory shareholder equity and did not meet the market cap or net annual profit benchmarks.
