Donald Trump Found Liable for Unlicensed School by New York Judge
A New York judge found Donald Trump personally liable for "operating a for-profit investment school without the required license." The Trump Entrepreneur Initiative, previously known as the Trump University, was notified in 2005 that it was in violation of state education law. The lawsuit has been ongoing since New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman filed a claim that Trump was misguiding 5,000 people who paid between $1,495 and $35,000 to learn Trump's real estate investment techniques. Damages will be assessed later as will the determination if Trump defrauded students.
