Famed Colombian Writer Gabriel Garcia Marquez Dies at 87
Nobel prize winner Gabriel Garcia Marquez died on Thursday at 87 years old. The Colombian novelist was best known for his works "One Hundred Years of Solitude" and "Love in the Time of Cholera." Marquez was hospitalized for nine days in March due to infection in his lungs and urinary tract, he was supposed to be recovering at his home in Mexico city. Marquez is known for inventing the literary genre of magical realism.
