Famous World Series Poker Player Accused of Cheating Casino out of $10 Million
World Series of Poker champion Phillip Ivey Jr. is being sued by The Borgata Casino, claiming he cheated them out of $10 million by using a technique known as edge sorting. Basically, the player picked up on a manufacturer defect in playing cards that gave them different edges. Ivey has won the World Series of Poker nine times. The suit was filed in a federal court.
