France Becomes First Ally to Join US Airstrikes on ISIS
After bombing an Islamist militant logistics depot, France became the first foreign country to publicly join the United States airstrikes in Iraq. The four Friday morning airstrikes killed dozens of fighters and "entirely destroyed" the depot according to Iraq's military spokesman. France has agreed to carry out similar operations in the days to come.
