Google Creates Fleet of Self-Driving Cars
Google's latest innovation are self-driving cars that are scheduled to be tested by the end of the year. Anywhere between 100-200 prototypes of the two-seat vehicles will be tested with safety drivers. The cars do not have steering wheels, brakes or a gas pedals but operate off of sensors and software instead. There is a stop button that drivers can push in case of an emergency. Currently, the cars don't go faster than 25 miles per hour.
