Google Offers Free Storage to Users for Security Check
Google is offering two gigabytes of extra cloud storage for Gmail, Google Drive and Goolge+ to users who review their security settings this week. Launching a security redesign in recognition of Safer Internet Day, Google told users the checkup can be found through their account settings and takes only "a few minutes." It encourages users to update phone numbers, view recent sign-ins, and review all devices connected to the Google account to make sure they are trusted. Free storage will be given to all users who do the checkup by Feb. 17.
