Green Mountain Coffee Roasters to Offer Coca Cola K-Cups
Green Mountain Coffee Roasters is planning to release a new home soda maker to mirror its Keurig single-serve coffee makers, and Coca Cola is already on board. Coca Cola K-Cups are a thing of the near future after Coke spent $1.25 billion to buy a 10% stake in Green Mountain. Coke, Fanta, Sprite and Powerade and many other Coke drink brands will be offered for the new machines. Green Mountain's deal with a bigger brand is not the first; last year it entered into deals with Starbucks, Dunkin' Donuts and even Campbell to make chicken noodle soup K-Cups.
