Huge Earthquake hits Japan, Tsunami Warnings Called Off
A powerful earthquake hit the coast of Northern Japan on Saturday, but thankfully all tsunami advisories were canceled. Hitting 80 miles east of Namie, the USGS put the quake's magnitude at 6.5 while the Japan Meteorological Agency put it at 6.8. The Fukushima nuclear facility was in the affected region but everything was reported as operating normally.
