Jill Abramson Replaced as NYT Executive Editor
    After becoming the New York Times' first female editor in 2011, Jill Abramson will be replaced by Dean Baquet, the paper's first African American executive editor. Baquet, 57, is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and has been working as the paper's managing editor since 2011. The reasons for Abramson's sudden departure are still unclear, though many have speculated it was due to "butting heads with other editorial staff in the newsroom."..
