Landslide in Washington Kills 8, 108 Still Missing
A landslide in Washington state killed eight people, destroyed several homes and blocked "a significant stretch of State Route 530." 108 people are still missing. The landslide was caused by ground saturation from heavy rainfall. Helicopters and thermal imaging is being used by rescuers in efforts to find survivors. The landslide was about a mile along and up to 15 feet deep.
