Lone Gray She Wolf Travels 450 Miles to Reach Arizona
    A lone gray she wolf has managed to make her way from her home in the northern Rockies to Arizona. Prowling just north of the Grand Canyon, she is the first known gray wolf to visit Arizona in 70 years since the endangered species disappeared from the state. After collecting feces samples, biologists were able to conclude that she had traveled more than 450 miles to arrive in Arizona. Because of conservation efforts, some 5,000 gray wolves now live across Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Oregon and Washington...
