Magician Raises Money for Homeless Veteran After Ripping up Sign
After hearing of Alan McCracken, a homeless veteran in Las Vegas who just wants to make people smile regardless of money, magician Rob Anderson decided to pay him a visit. After drawing dollar signs on McCracken's "Anything helps" sign, Anderson proceeded to tear the sign to pieces without a protest from McCracken. He only asked if he could have the marker back to make a new sign. Anderson "magically" put the sign back together and revealed cash for the displaced veteran. Since the video hit YouTube, Anderson set up a GoFundMe for McCracken, which has now surpassed its goal of $15,000 courtesy of 643 donators.
