NC Parents Arrested After Baby Dies From Being Left in Hot Car
After their 4-week-old infant died from being left in a hot car for two hours, Sherrie Clay and Shakee Robinson were arrested for involuntary manslaughter in Statesville, North Carolina. They are also being charged with felony child abuse after the child was found by his aunt and rushed to the hospital where he died from hypothermia. Around 44 children died in 2013 from heat strokes after being left in vehicles.
