Netflix and Tumblr Participate in 'Internet Slowdown' Net Neutrality Protest
    As the FCC prepares to bring public comments to a close for its Open Internet proposal, several major sites, including Netflix, Etsy, and Tumblr, have agreed to participate in Internet Slowdown Day. Though the Internet will not actually become slower, companies are participating by including a spinning "loading cat" icon on their sites to indicate support for Title II reclassification in hopes that users will take action in the net neutrality debate.
