New Book Suggests Being a Psychopath in the Business World is a 'Good' Thing
In their new book, "The Good Psychopath's Guide to Success," Andy McNab and Kevin Dutton suggest that psychopathic tendencies are a good thing when applied to the corporate world. Among psychopathic characteristics listed were "ruthlessness" and "reduced empathy," though the authors look at psychopathy on a spectrum. Function psychopaths, according to the book, modulate those extreme characteristics for better business practices. Some behavioral analysts have already strongly disagreed, saying "'psychopath' and 'success' should never be used in the same sentence."
