New York's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Celebrates 88 Years
The annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York will celebrate its 88th year. More than 3.5 million people will line the streets of Manhattan starting as early as 6:30 a.m. to watch festivities that start at 9:00 a.m. Beginning at 77th Street and Central Park West, the best areas to watch are along both sides of Central Park West, from 70th Street to Columbus Circle at 59th Street. The Taney Dragons of Philadelphia will lead the parade and five new floats will be featured, including a performance by Maya Hart (from Disney's "Girl Meets World") on a Pirate Booty's Treasure Hunt float. The New York Daily News' Big Apple float will also be taking pictures of parade goers, which can be found afterwards at macys.com/parade...
