Pepsi's Latest Soda Only 60 Calories and Sweetened with Stevia
Pepsi announced Pepsi True, its first 60-calorie soda sweetened by sugar and stevia. The plant-derived sugar substitute is a controversial sweetener that caused 30 percent fewer calories than a regular soda. Pepsi's move to go green follows a similar strategy by Coke, which released a stevia sweetened Coca-Cola Life last month in an attempt to cut calories. Pepsi True will only be sold on Amazon for a 24-pack of 7.5-ounce cans with the first sodas made available for purchase later this month.
