Pope Francis will Travel to U.S. to Address Congress
Pope Francis will become the first pontiff to address a joint meeting of Congress on Sept. 24. as part of his papal visit to the United States. Francis will also visit Philadelphia for the World Meeting of Families and New York to visit the United Nations. Both leaders of the House of Representatives plus one-third of the members of Congress are Catholic.
