Pregnant Woman Brutally Thrown to Pavement by NYPD
    A 72nd Precinct NYPD officer brutally tackled a five-month pregnant woman to the pavement when she tried to intervene in her son's arrest and alleged beating. Sandra Amezquita hit the ground belly first with the cop on her back while the baby's father, Ronel Lemos, struck out in retaliation. Amezquita suffered bleeding and had bruises after the incident. Cops were arresting the couple's 17-year-old son for possession of a knife when they were attacked. Amezquita was given summons for disorderly conduct while her husband was arrested for assaulting a police officer...
