President Obama Proposes $4 Trillion Budget for Fiscal Year
President Barack Obama proposed a $4 trillion budget for fiscal 2016 on Monday that included boosting the middle class, infrastructure improvements, tax increases for businesses and the wealthy as well as an end to existing spending caps. Pushing to end deficit-reduction measures that both parties agreed on four years ago, Obama neglected to address accumulating costs of Social Security and Medicare. The budget also included $561 in military spending as well as $14 billion in cybersecurity.
