Reporter Christin Cooper Brings Bode Miller to Tears at Winter Olympics
NBC has received much criticism after reporter Christin Cooper brought Bode Miller, the American bronze medal winner in the men's super-G at the Winter Olympics, to tears by continuing to ask him questions about his brother who died of a seizure in April 2013. The network's executive producer Jim Bell is not sorry in the least, defending Cooper's actions as responsible reporting. Even Miller tweeted that fans "be gentle with Christin Cooper, it was crazy emotional and not all her fault." Miller's brother, Chelone "Chilly" Miller, was a pro snowboarder.
