Tennessee Governor Signs Bill to Make Electric Chair Legal Again
According to AP, Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam has signed a bill to allow the electric chair if lethal injection drugs are unavailable. The electric chair was last used in Tennessee in 2007. Drugs used for lethal injections are becoming harder to come by because pharmaceutical firms abroad object to their use in executions.
