Texas Man Kills 4 Children, 2 Adults in Domestic Dispute
After a three-hour standoff, a Texas man was arrested for allegedly shooting four children and two adults to death in Houston. Ronald Lee Haskell, 33, was charged with multiple counts of capital murder after shooting two boys, 4 and 14, two girls, 7 and 9, and a man and woman. Haskell supposedly gathered the children in their suburban home to wait for the adults to arrive before they were later shot in the residence. The only survivor, Haskell's 15-year-old daughter, warned police that he was heading to another home "to kill more relatives," and the deputies were able to cut him off. Haskell was apparently estranged from a woman related to the two adult victims.
