The Reason Toyota Recalls Thousands of Cars: Spiders
Toyota announced that it is recalling 870,000 of its vehicles due to airbags spontaneously deploying and some defective power steering. What's even more curious, is that all of the defects are stemming from an air conditioner part. Water from the car's condensers are leaking onto the airbags' control modules, which cause the bags to deploy independently from typical triggers. And the cause behind the condensers' malfunctions? Spiders. Apparently, arachnids are building their webs inside car condensers and causing a car full of problems.
