Tim Howard Sets World Cup Record Against Belgium
USA goalkeeper set a World-Cup record with 16 saves in the USMNT match against Belgium that ended with a 2-1 loss. It is the highest number of saves in the tournament since records were first kept in 1966. Belgium set records of their own, taking 38 shots on goal, the fourth most since 1966. Needless to say, both teams brought forward their A-games.
