'Tweep,' 'Yooper' and 'Hashtag' Among 150 Words Added to Merriam-Webster's Dictionary
    A list of 150 new words and phrases have been added to the Merriam-Webster's Dictionary including 'hashtag,' 'selfie,' 'tweep,' 'Yooper,' 'hotspot,' 'digital divide,' and 'pepita.' (The last word being a pumpkin or squash seed dried on toast.) Many people residing on the Upper Peninsula of Michigan were happy to see the word 'Yooper,' as it refers to residents of the region of which many have Scandinavian roots.
