Urban Outfitters Sells Tapestry Mirroring Holocaust Wear for Gay Men
The Anti-Defamation League has wrote to fashion retailer Urban Outfitters urging them to stop selling a gray-and-white tapestry with pink triangles that is reminiscent of Holocaust garb gay men in Nazi concentration camps were forced to wear. The argument was made that whether intentional or not, the "deeply offensive" pattern should not "be mainstreamed into polar culture." The store is currently selling the tapestry for $69 as part of the "Assembly Home" line.
