White House Hosts First-Ever Maker Faire
President Barack Obama hosted the first-ever White House Maker Faire to recognize the innovation and creativity of makers and their projects across the States. The Maker Movement deals predominately with 3-D technology, laser cutters and design software, offering students the opportunity to put STEM skills to use as budding entrepreneurs. June 18th has offically been proclaimed the National Day of Making.
